Blogging In The Beginning Part 1: Is Blogging Right For You?

Aug 19th, ‘08

Welcome to my new series of posts that I will be talking about. The theme of this series is to talk about the absolute basics of blogging and really talk about what it is all about. This will start from finding out what blogging really is, all the way to picking a niche, a domain name, and installing WordPress and much more. I am very excited to start this series, I guarantee everyone will find something they find useful in it. This is part one of ” Blogging In The Beginning.” I hope you enjoy it.

What Really Is Blogging?

This may seem like a stupid question, but surprisingly most bloggers don’t even know it. This is an answer though that may have a different take on it depending on who the individual is. Everyone sees blogging differently. Some bloggers see blogging as a way to talk and express their emotions, while other bloggers take it as a full time job. I am starting to notice a trend in blogging as a source of income nowadays, and it is starting to become more and more popular. Some more popular bloggers who may their living online such as John Chow, Pro Blogger, ShoeMoney, and many others are really starting to boom and live off of this. So, for example, If you made a comment on a DoFollow Blog, your link would be indexed by the search engines and thus giving you a free link back towards your blog. This seems like a very good advantage to the commentator, but how does it really effect the author who owns the blog? First, lets look more at the positive and negatives effects of having a DoFollow Blog.

First thing I did was install the No Follow Free Plugin. This plugin here will easily allow you to switch your comments from Nofollow to Dofollow with just click of a button. After that I waited to see what would happen.

Internet and ISP Problems

Aug 14th, ‘08

Hey everyone, it’s been almost a week since I last updated my blog. The reason being for this little delay is because of internet problems I have been having for the past little while.

I got this idea from reading a blog post by Ben. In this post Ben lists all the major popular Social Networks. I have an idea on how I can really start to build a network and my brand. I have a deal for all my readers out there today as well.
